I have been deeply troubled that after almost three months, the news from the Gulf Coast is still getting worse.  
 
I agree with Chris Coons that the Deepwater Horizon oil spill is a tragic example of why we can no longer rely on oil as our nation's main source of energy, and the notion that we might risk such a disaster on Delaware's shores is incomprehensible.

As Senator, Chris Coons will fight to prevent companies like BP from drilling here and putting Delaware's future at risk.
